She's a rough one today in Auckland boys.

It's not too bad where we are but other parts aren't fairing so well and Mr 23 girl friend is stuck on the motorway where it has flooded across all lanes in both directions just after the harbour bridge.

Cleaned the leaves out of the driveway storm water drain so hopefully not water in the garage.

That being said, I'm looking forward to an El Nino thats meant to be kicking in here now after 3 straight years of La Nina, I don't recall seeing Adelaide so cold/wet in my lifetime.

I much prefer dry and warm over freezing and rain.

For example my ideal retirement place would be Broken Hill or the Pilbara etc.

Noticed that...Surposed to be mid to high 20's next week, from memory....

I'm keeping half an eye on the weather...Not sure if it is this weekend or next that a mate is racing speedway....He's been away from it for 4 or 5 years, and just started back up, so I'm planning to go watch him...

I'm hoping it holds out as theres a chance I'll be able to get the engine bay in primer next weekend, but the shed can't be more than about 35 degrees or it'll flash before it even hits the panel.

I'm 3 hours from home. Mr 23 just sent a pic of the bush area behind the house which looks to have about 2.5 meters of water sitting which means either the culvert is blocked or there is a blockage somewhere down the 6OOmm pipe.
