Howdy,
Anyone know what the material is that the VX C4B 300 engines covers are made from, some sort of carbon resin mixture?
I have a set here with too many coats of paint, wanted to safely strip them, or at least the last one that was heavily applied and not cleaned first by previous owner. I thought someone may have had luck in the past with 'plastic-friendly' paint strippers or similar.
Likewise, other techniques like soda blasting may work, but wanted to know if safe on this material and won't lose the texture, which is currently covered in paint!
