I was just wondering what people have replaced the manual gear knob in their VF Redlines with please?

I am sick of having my hand getting cut and I am not keen on spending $700 plus on an original replacement one.

thanks

seem to have secured all available stock and want an arm and a leg. I bought a W1 GTSR one for my '16. It was around $400 and included the gaiter and aurround. Gear knob itself is black with black suede and red stitching. Sexy as. Got that from Holmart too..can't understand why basic fact ones cost so much..well actually I do...its called price gouging lol

I'll tag @Smitty who replaced his but can't recall what with, aside from the fact it wasn't OEM IIRC.

Just looking at what MOMO sells here, and I reckon the Combat or Combat Evo would suit a VF's interior.

Do these fit like VE factory knob ?

i.e. just press on ?

no... VF is held on by a through bolt (accessed from the passenger side)
Undo the bolt and the shifter knob just lifts off .. easy peasy

Do you need any adapters for those or are they vehicle specific?
