Just got my Shannons renewal, and rang them to negotiate the agreed values.

Monaro, was $45,000, now increased to $48,500. Could have gone higher, but I think that Carsales prices are dreaming.
Crewman was $10,000, then reduced to $8,545, but now back to $10,000.
Territory unchanged at $14,500.
All up, that is an increase of $11 per month, (ie: 2 cups of cafe coffee) for a total of $2,562 pa for 3 cars.
That will do me.

Agreed value looks good for you, along with the premiums....Win all the way for you by the looks, so congrats

I was prepared for a bigger premium considering the natural disasters / fires / floods over the last few years.
House contents (not Shannons) took a 12% hike compared to last year, but we are insured, not like a lot of others who either can't afford, it or can't be bothered.

Just had mine revalued today and a new agreed price applied. I asked for $28k but was told that the average price for a VE ute with 200k is about $21k. I told the rep most of my mods, including headers, Magnaflow, leather interior and HSV Monaro rims and he was able to meet me half way at $25k. Without my list of mods I would have been looking at $21k - $22k. Suggests to me that people who think their SS VE's are worth $35k + might be dreaming....
He'll my 08 ss ute has 36000kms and is 20k with shannons with heaps of mods.
