Wanted to upgrade to brembos so was on the hunt for wheels. Was never looking for black but my wife convinced me she thought they'd look great. I found a good deal on some second hand redline forged wheels (I think!). I also put on a rear wing and a stubby antenna

I painted the rear muffler tips to match the wheels. The 'bottom half' of the car had a black theme, top half chrome.

Time for mudflaps to go :)
Lots of work went into it. Great job

Yep got rid of the rear ones when I got the wider rear wheels. Looks much better. You can kind of see in the latest photos. Still have to do the fronts!

& Thanks!

I have questions.

1. @Lex I’ve been sussing out fitting a trans cooler to both my VE and Cross8. (Connects the same as VF). It’s way trickier than I’d like. I’m thinking of getting some trans hoses and cutting them, fitting a AN fitting to the cutoff hard line part. Did you bypass the radiator all together?

2. @dassaur How did you wire up the forward camera? What’s your trigger wire for the forward camera? What have you got the image showing on?
I have been looking at converting my setup to AN fittings and came across this
Is this what you are looking for?

I am going to use the top one to go from the trans hard line near the lower coolant hose to the trans cooler, then from the trans cooler into the radiator with the bottom adaptors.

We’ll get together. Have a few laughs.

Trunnion upgrade. Took the opportunity to paint valve covers black, but you can hardly tell under the factory coils. Looked good before I put the coils back on :p

In an effort to reduce wagon noise drone, got some dynamat and fully covered the spare wheel well. What a difference. Cost me about $130. Well worth it.
If the car didnt already come with a 3" catback I wouldve gone with 2.5 and strongly recommend it to any wagon owner.

But the dynamat is absolutely incredible at blocking out what in layman terms I would describe as the 'higher frequency' drone.

Did a shark fin from the chevy SS. Sadly they don't fit 100% flush on the wagon. About 98%, so a little sikaflex did the rest. Quick shot attached.

For anyone wanting to do it, I swapped the internals, the US stuff is basically useless as there is no AM/FM transmitter to connect. You would need to remove the fakra connectors then redo them or desolder from the PCB to swap it (I took the latter route).

Yeah, l added a pwr trans cooler (this one https://www.sparesbox.com.au/part/p...MInonF8a-v8QIVWyUrCh3CEwzGEAQYAiABEgLBivD_BwE ) to my wagon too. I have also added a 10 inch fan with a inline fan switch ( this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/265063183877 ). It turns the fan on 180 f & turns off at 165 f. Good for when your stuck in the car park!;)
Bit of a thread dig but a quick question. I am assuming that inline switch has an inbuilt temp sender that sends a signal at 180f and 165f? 'Cause I was looking to put a temp sender but the AN6 fittings with 1/8npt port dont allow a sender to fit in due to the length of the sender head after the thread.

I dont think it will do what you want. Its a switch, it switches a relay on & off.

Check out Pro flo or Derale or one of the otgher co. They might have something suitable?

Yeh I get that :)
I've checked them out, nothing. The closest i've found is an aeroflow 6an to 6an with a 1/8 npt but no sender will fit in it due to the size of the 6an.
