Ok - Have a customed v6 that I really need to reset some of the parameters on the tune I have. Was all ready to go and find a dyno tuner to do it for me, but I keep getting quoted proces in the $1300-$1600 area.

So before I go spend big dollars, I'm wondering If I can do it using seat of the pants assesment, G force sensors and alaptop.

I'm good with hardware, PC's, and understand the lingo and terms pretty well.

What I need to know is if there is an existing software and link method that I can use to program the memcal in a VT2, on a go live basis. Laptop as an emulator, tweak the tune, burn a chip.

The things I am not comfortable with, are changing the gear shift points, the lock up points for the torqu converter etc.

Timing, AFR, knock, and similair doesn't scare me as much.

Does anyone have any experience going down this path they care to share ?

Hi go to delcohacking.net and look in the getting started guide.
You can buy the gear, realtime board etc, download software and have support.
