Holden never fitted catch cans.
Can you imagine the **** up?! People can’t even manage to change the oil let alone make regular checks on a catch can.

Why not just drill the hole as big as possible and add an inline PCV?

You only need a catch can if you pretty much randomly over size the holes in the PCV. In this case excessive crank case vapours will be collected because the PCV is no longer doing its job in a measured way. Condensate will collect in the catch can at a rapid rate and require frequent checks

Where the PCV is modified to the specific sizes, a catch can will still collect crank case vapour and condensate. It will in any car. The rate at which it collects is far less.

The modified PCV simply puts vapours back into the combustion process. My intake is still clean and dry without the catch cans.

Because there is absolutely zero need to do that. Simple drill holes to the specific size and let it do what it’s meant to do.

Yea but as you say it has to be specific sized holes, and as you say many people don't do it correctly, so wouldn't just adding an inline PCV solve any confusion?
