The Auto and Manual's share the same ECU and Memcals on the VN, there is no difference at all, Only once you get to the VR with it's computer controlled gearbox does that change

im not too sure about that actually (maybe is correct not i think about it ) but in the v8's the vp's are electronically auto shifted but the vn are still vacuum controlled ...

manual VN aero
vn and vp use hydrollic boxes therefore auto to manual memcals have no difference

i think your thinking vr then again im a manual owner so dont rely on my info but thats what i believe is true

Yeah the VP is the same as the VN, only the VR has the electronic shifts

If we do make our own ECU settings, who's the good chap gonna be that burns them to the eprom chips for the fellow JC bretheran???

You'll need your own burner because it takes alot of burns to get it right

What about if some clueless rooking makes one with stupid settings, like advancing the timing by 50 degrees at 3 grand or something silly like that?
Can it damage the car?
