Some say football (soccer) is a pussies game. Only the ignorant.
Broke my tibia and fibula clean in half. Well it wasn't so clean by the time the surgeon fished out the splintered bits of bone before screwing a metal plate with ten screws to the broken halves.
Also had several kicks to the head no doubt causing undiagnosed concussions, along with broken ribs and dislocated fingers.

Mind you, I was a mad goalkeeper playing in some of the hardest leagues in Liverpool.
